Matina Jaimah is an illustrator and fine artist residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2024, Matina earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University, where she majored in Illustration. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, she infuses her portraits with vibrant creativity, aiming to capture the essence of individuality and celebrate the diverse beauty within each subject.
Her artistic journey has been enriched by a variety of experiences, including an internship at the Sun Gallery in Hayward and assisting in art classrooms for the San Lorenzo Unified School District. These opportunities have deepened her understanding of the profound impact of art on communities and individuals.
Matina's work has been showcased at the CSUEB Art Gallery and other community venues, where she has connected with fellow art enthusiasts and shared her passion for portraiture.
